Class I West Jakarta Correctional Center Begins Selection for 2026 Ministry of Manpower National Internship Program

 

Jakarta – The Class I West Jakarta Correctional Center (Balai Pemasyarakatan/Bapas) conducted the selection process for the 2026 National Internship Recruitment Program organized by the Ministry of Manpower. The announcement was released today, Monday (August 3, 2026).

A total of 61 applicants were scheduled to attend and were first gathered to receive a briefing from the selection committee at the West Jakarta Correctional Center. Participants were instructed to follow the selection stages, which included registration and administrative verification, participant orientation, a written examination, interviews, and final verification.

For this program, the Class I West Jakarta Correctional Center was allocated 13 internship positions, consisting of 10 Community Guidance Assistant positions, 1 Public Relations Management position, 1 Human Resources Management position, and 1 State Property Management position.

All stages of the selection process were conducted in an orderly manner while upholding the principles of transparency, objectivity, and accountability. The interview panel, comprising Structural Officials and Community Counselors (Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan/PK) of the West Jakarta Correctional Center, assessed candidates based on their competencies, experience, communication skills, educational background, and suitability to the institution's operational needs.

The Head of the Class I West Jakarta Correctional Center, RM. Kristyo Nugroho, emphasized that the assessment process for the 2026 National Internship Recruitment Program was carried out transparently, objectively, and accountably in accordance with applicable regulations. The selection results will serve as the basis for assigning successful applicants to the units requiring internship personnel, with the expectation of supporting the optimization of the Correctional Center's duties and functions while enhancing the quality of public services.
