Denpasar - Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., attended the commemoration of The Prophet Muhammad SAW in 1444 H/2022 M, at The Sudirman Grand Mosque, Slamet Riyadi Street No. 1, Dauh Puri, Denpasar City, Bali Province, on Wednesday (19/10/2022).
In his speech, Pangdam expressed saying his praise and gratitude to Allah SWT, that The Rasulullah was born into this world to change things in accordance with Islamic law. with tenacity fighting for changes in social, legal and cultural order for the welfare of Muslims who prioritize noble and character.
"Rasulullah SAW is the best example for mankind, not only in one field, but in all areas of life, including in family, preaching, teachers, trade and various other fields," said Pangdam.
So therefore, Pangdam believes that it is very appropriate if all residents of Kodam IX/Udayana as well as their families always reflect on what has been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad, both in carrying out their duties, family and in social life.
"Eliminate bad prejudice against others so that mutual suspicion does not arise, blasphemy and slanderous slander. Always increase togetherness, harmony and cohesiveness in order to maintain unity and integrity," said Pangdam.
Through The Commemoration Birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Pangdam hopes that it can be used as the right moment to reflect on the example of The Prophet Muhammad, as well as inspire him to have a tough mentality and noble character in living life and social relations.
"In line with the theme Imitating the Morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Daily Life, it should be able to motivate the entire extended family of Kodam IX/Udayana to continue to improve the quality and professionalism as a land defense force in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions," he said.
The ceremonial continued with the delivery of a lecture by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Mosque Council of Bali Province, H. Bambang Santoso, S.Pd.I., M.A., who said that for a believer, love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW is a necessity, as a consequence of faith.
"We instill the example of this Apostle in our daily life, from the smallest things to the biggest things, from worldly life to the affairs of the hereafter. Let us always imitate the character of Rasulullah SAW in our daily life. Also instill an example of this Apostle in our sons and daughters," he said.
