KDKMP Program Strengthens Rural Economy Across Villages in Nganjuk

 

NGANJUK – Efforts to strengthen the rural economy continue to be intensified through the operational launch of 1,061 Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative (KDKMP) points inaugurated in Nglawak Village, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency, on Saturday (May 16, 2026).


The event was attended by the Commander of Military Resort Command (Danrem) 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., as a form of the Indonesian Army’s support for the government’s program to build community economic independence.


Danrem 083/Bdj stated that village cooperatives are an important means of strengthening the people’s economy while also encouraging the growth of togetherness and mutual cooperation within the community.


“The presence of the Merah Putih Cooperative is expected to help rural communities grow, become independent, and gain wider opportunities to improve their standard of living,” said Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus.


He emphasized that village development plays a major role in supporting the nation’s overall strength and resilience.


According to him, the program will run optimally if supported by active community participation in managing and utilizing the cooperatives properly and sustainably.


With the establishment of thousands of KDKMP points, it is hoped that the rural economy will continue to grow and be able to create equitable prosperity across various regions. !***
