Kodim 1602/Ende Reaffirms Commitment to Communities Through TMMD Charity Program

 


ENDE – Demonstrating continued care and closeness with the community, the Task Force of the 128th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Program of Kodim 1602/Ende carried out a charity assistance activity for residents of Fataatu Timur Village and Aelipo Village, Wewaria District, Ende Regency, on Thursday (21/5/2026).

The charity assistance was distributed after the closing ceremony of the 128th TMMD Program and was led directly by the Chief of Staff of Korem 161/Wirasakti, Colonel Inf. Albertus Yostina David, accompanied by the Commander of Kodim 1602/Ende, Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Dwi Harry Wibowo, S.E., M.M., S.I.P., along with several TNI-Polri officials and regional government representatives.

The social aid was symbolically handed over to community representatives as a form of the TNI’s concern for residents’ needs while also strengthening the emotional bond between soldiers and the community in the TMMD target areas.

On the occasion, the Chief of Staff of Korem 161/Wirasakti stated that the charity activity reflected the spirit of unity between the TNI and the people, which has long been the main strength behind the implementation of the TMMD program.

“TMMD is not only about building infrastructure, but also about fostering togetherness, care, and the spirit of mutual cooperation with the community,” he said.

Residents who received the assistance appeared enthusiastic and expressed gratitude for the attention and support provided by the TMMD Task Force. The presence of TNI personnel during the TMMD implementation was considered highly beneficial to the community, both through physical development projects and various social activities.

In addition to road construction and other public facilities, the TMMD Task Force of Kodim 1602/Ende also actively carried out various social activities, communicated with residents, and assisted the community in their daily activities throughout the program.

The charity assistance activity became one of the warmest moments during the closing of the 128th TMMD Program in the Kodim 1602/Ende area, reaffirming the TNI’s commitment to always be present and supportive of communities in regional areas.
