Kodim 1623/Karangasem Completes Housing Rehabilitation Project to Improve Community Welfare
KARANGASEM – In an effort to help improve the quality of life, health, and welfare of underprivileged residents through the provision of safe, healthy, and comfortable housing, the TMMD 128 Task Force of Kodim 1623/Karangasem has completed the rehabilitation of an Uninhabitable House (RTLH) belonging to Mr. Putu Aristana in Waringin Hamlet, Pempatan Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency.
On Monday (May 18, 2026), exactly two weeks after the project began, the rehabilitation work on Mr. Putu Aristana’s house carried out by the TMMD 128 Task Force of Kodim 1623/Karangasem was officially completed, reaching 100 percent progress.
The RTLH rehabilitation was carried out in stages, starting from floor construction, wall repairs, installation of doors and windows, roofing work, and finishing with wall painting. The entire project has now been fully completed.
This was conveyed by the Company Commander (Dan SSK), Captain Inf. I Wayan Sadra.
“Yes, it is true that the rehabilitation of the uninhabitable house (RTLH) carried out by members of the TMMD 128 Task Force of Kodim 1623/Karangasem together with local residents has now been completed 100 percent,” he stated.
“Based on reports from personnel working on the project and direct inspections in the field, all rehabilitation work such as flooring, walls, doors, and painting has been completed,” he continued.
“With the rehabilitation work on Mr. Putu Aristana’s house by the TMMD Task Force of Kodim 1623/Karangasem reaching 100 percent completion within two weeks, this reflects the sincerity and dedication of TMMD personnel in improving housing conditions for the welfare of the community,” he concluded.
