Extended TNI Family Joins Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya to Reinforce Nationalism and Unity

Malang – The Military Resort Command (Korem) 083/Baladhika Jaya continues to strengthen the spirit of nationalism and awareness of national defense among the public through the National Defense Awareness Development Program (PKBN) held in collaboration with the Extended TNI Family for Fiscal Year 2026. The activity took place at Brawijaya Rampal Field, Malang City, on Thursday (June 18, 2026).

The event was officially opened by the Chief of Staff of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Rahmat Cahyo Dinarso, representing the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya (Danrem 083/Bdj). It was attended by members of the Extended TNI Family from the Greater Malang and Pasuruan regions, including PPAD, KB FKPPI, GM FKPPI, PPM, and HIPAKAD.

In his written remarks delivered by the Chief of Staff, Commander of Korem 083/Bdj Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan emphasized that awareness of national defense is a crucial foundation for safeguarding the nation's integrity amid the ever-evolving challenges facing the country.

According to the Commander, national development should not rely solely on economic growth and physical infrastructure development. It must also be supported by strong national character, love for the homeland, and a spirit of unity among all elements of society.

"The Extended TNI Family holds a strategic position as a partner of the Indonesian Army in strengthening national insight and maintaining the spirit of unity within the community," the Commander stated in his remarks.

Through this program, participants were provided with an understanding of national defense, national insight, and various national challenges emerging in the modern era.

Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya hopes that this activity will further strengthen the synergy between the Indonesian Army and the Extended TNI Family in supporting the creation of a resilient, harmonious, and nationalistic society.
