66th Anniversary of Rindam V/Brawijaya: Building Strong, Professional and Trusted Soldiers

 

Malang – A spirit of togetherness and professionalism marked the 66th Anniversary commemoration of Rindam V/Brawijaya. Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., attended the event alongside Commander of Kodam V/Brawijaya, Major General TNI Rudy Saladin, M.A., at Rindam V/Brawijaya on Monday (August 31, 2026).

Carrying the spirit of “Bhaswara Widya Cakti,” the 66th Anniversary commemoration served as a momentum to strengthen the commitment to developing soldiers who are strong in character, resilient, possess integrity, and are respected and loved by the people. These values play an important role in strengthening soldiers’ professionalism amid increasingly complex operational demands.

One of the key agendas of the event was the inauguration of the “Pandu Sakti” Pistol Shooting Range. The facility is expected to support the development and enhancement of soldiers’ shooting skills while further strengthening personnel readiness in carrying out their duties.

Commander of Korem 083/Bdj emphasized that soldier development must be carried out continuously through education, training, and character building. Professional soldiers are not only required to possess technical capabilities but must also demonstrate discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.

The 66th Anniversary of Rindam V/Brawijaya also served as an opportunity to reflect on its journey of service and to renew the motivation to continue giving the best for the Indonesian Army, the nation, and the state.
