Denpasar - Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Harfendi, S.IP., M.Sc., accompanied by Wadan Sesko TNI Major General TNI Kukuh Surya S.S., M.Tr. (Han) as Deputy General Manager of Training (Wapimumlat) Pasis Dikreg LI Sesko TNI opened the Rentinkon Rehearsal (Contingency Action Plan) Kotamaops TNI (Waskita Dharma) Pasis Dikreg LI Sesko TNI TA 2023 which was held at Supardi Hall Makodam IX/Udayana, on Monday (4/9/2023).
Starting the opening of the Waskita Dharma Rentinkon Rehearsal activities, the Commander of the TNI Sesko, in his speech read by the Wadan Sesko TNI, expressed his thanks to the Commander of the IX/Udayana Regional Military Command and the staff for taking the time to receive the arrival of Pasis Dikreg LI Sesko TNI and informed that the activity would be carried out for 4 (four) days from 4 to 7 September 2023 with a total of 55 participants consisting of 38 student officers (Pasis) and 17 companions.
"I hope that the Pasis will utilize and be able to explore various developments in the strategic environment with the real conditions faced by Kodam IX/Udayana in an effort to carry out their main tasks," he said.
Furthermore, Pangdam IX/Udayana in his speech welcomed the committee, group heads and participants in the Rentinkon Kotamaops TNI (Waskita Dharma) Pasis Dikreg LI Sesko TNI FY 2023 rehearsal. The Pangdam also briefly conveyed the situation that Kodam IX/Udayana is in charge of 3 (three) Korem , namely Korem 161/Wira Sakti in NTT Province, Korem 162/Wira Bhakti in NTB Province and Korem 163/Wira Satya in Bali Province.
"The three provinces have different cultural characteristics and customs. As we all know, Bali Province is a magnet for millions of tourists including VVIP guests to visit," said the Military Commander.
The Military Commander hopes that the Rentinkon Kotamaops TNI (Waskita Dharma) exercise will be an important moment as a means to apply theories that have been received with data and facts in the field containing sharper analysis, especially when preparing action plans to face contingencies, especially in the Kodam IX/Udayana area.
On the same occasion, the Chair of the Working Group for Kodam IX/Udayana Colonel Inf Rio Neswan, S.E., M.M., M.I.K., said that he would carry out one of the educational activities included in the curriculum, namely the Rentinkon Command Post Training with the object being Kodam IX/Udayana so that the lessons received could be applied directly in the field.
The Rentinkon Waskita Dharma rehearsal activity invited resource persons from: Karo Ops Bali Regional Police, Kalaksa BPBD Prov. Bali, Head of BMKG Prov. Bali and the Head of National Vigilance and Regional Conflict Handling, Kesbangpol Provincial. Bali.
