Retaining Wall Construction Under TMMD 128 in Brabe Village Reaches 85 Percent Completion
Probolinggo, Saturday, May 9, 2026 – The construction of a retaining wall under the 128th TMMD Program of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo in Klagin Hamlet, RT 19 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, has reached 85 percent completion. The project is one of the physical targets focused on protecting residents’ road access from the risk of landslides.
The retaining wall is being built using river stone and cement mortar in accordance with technical standards. The structure is designed to strengthen the road embankment while preventing erosion during the rainy season.
At the site, TMMD Task Force personnel together with local residents were seen completing the stone installation on the final section of the construction. The spirit of mutual cooperation has accelerated the work progress.
Serda Samudro from Pasmar 2 Surabaya, who is assigned to the construction site, stated that the project has entered its final stage. He ensured that all work is proceeding according to the planned technical specifications
“We only have a few final sections left to complete. Progress has reached 85 percent, and we are targeting completion in the near future,” said Serda Samudro.
Residents of Klagin Hamlet have welcomed the construction of the retaining wall. According to them, the structure is essential for ensuring road user safety and extending the durability of the village access road.
Brabe Village Head, Sunardi, expressed his appreciation for the 128th TMMD Program for providing basic infrastructure to the community. He hopes the retaining wall will deliver long-term benefits for local residents.
The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo is targeting all physical projects, including the retaining wall, to be completed before the program’s closing ceremony. The synergy between the TNI and the community continues to be maintained until all work reaches 100 percent completion. ***
