Strengthening Ties with Residents, TMMD Task Force Cleans Nurul Jannah Mosque in Brabe Village

 

Probolinggo, Saturday (May 9) – The Task Force of the 128th TMMD Program of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo carried out a community service activity at Nurul Jannah Mosque, Klagin Hamlet, RT 18 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The activity was conducted as part of preparations for the upcoming Friday congregational prayer.

The clean-up effort included tidying both the interior and exterior areas of the mosque, cleaning the ablution area, and arranging prayer equipment. The joint work between task force personnel and local residents created a warm atmosphere filled with togetherness.

Sergeant Toga, together with Private First Class Elen, Private Defani, and Private Aldi from Yon Zipur 5 ABW Malang, directly led the activity on site. They worked side by side with residents in cleaning the mosque environment.

Residents of Klagin Hamlet warmly welcomed the initiative. The presence of the TNI was seen as providing fresh motivation for the community to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of their place of worship.

“We want to ensure the mosque is clean and ready to be used for Friday prayers. This is also a reflection of our togetherness with the residents,” said Sergeant Toga during the activity.

The management of Nurul Jannah Mosque expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the TMMD Task Force. According to them, the community service effort greatly helped ease weekly preparations for worshippers.

The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo is not solely focused on physical infrastructure development. Non-physical activities such as community service and religious guidance are also integral parts of the program aimed at strengthening the bond between the TNI and the people.
