TMMD 128 Probolinggo Water Reservoir Construction Reaches 85 Percent Completion
Probolinggo, Saturday, May 9, 2026 – Construction of a water reservoir in Klagin Hamlet, RT 20 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency, has reached 85 percent completion. The project is one of the physical targets under the 128th TMMD Program carried out by Kodim 0820/Probolinggo.
The reservoir is being built to store and distribute clean water for the daily needs of local residents. This facility is expected to help address the long-standing difficulties in accessing clean water experienced by the community.
At the site, TMMD Task Force personnel and local residents were seen completing the installation and final structural adjustments of the reservoir. The spirit of mutual cooperation has accelerated the construction process while also strengthening the bond between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the people.
Serka Fatorrosi from Abdul Rachman Saleh Air Force Base, who is assigned to the project location, stated that the work has entered its final stage. He ensured that every part of the reservoir is being constructed according to standards to guarantee durability and long-term use.
Meanwhile, Captain Inf. Yahudin, Commander of Koramil 0820-02 Wonoasih, emphasized that the reservoir construction is a priority project aimed at supporting the community’s basic needs. According to him, access to clean water is a fundamental right that must be fulfilled.
“We are optimistic that the reservoir construction will be completed before the TMMD closing ceremony. The current progress has reached 85 percent, with only final finishing work remaining,” said Captain Inf. Yahudin.
Residents of Klagin Hamlet have welcomed the construction of the water reservoir. They hope the facility will soon be operational to meet their families’ clean water needs.
The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo remains committed to completing all physical targets on schedule. The presence of the TNI within the community is expected to continue strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation in village development. (*)
