Strengthening Solidarity, Kodim 0820 Probolinggo TMMD Task Force Joins Community Yasin Recitation

 

Probolinggo, Saturday, May 9, 2026 – The Task Force of the 128th TMMD Program of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo held its regular Thursday night Yasin recitation together with local residents at Al Ikhwan Prayer Room, Klagin Hamlet, RT 19 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The activity was part of the mental and spiritual development program carried out during the TMMD implementation.

The recitation was led directly by Ustad Suyit, a local religious figure as well as the imam of Al Ikhwan Prayer Room. A solemn atmosphere filled the prayer room as residents and task force personnel jointly recited verses from the Holy Quran.

The presence of the task force in this religious gathering was warmly welcomed by the community. Residents considered the TNI’s involvement as not only contributing to physical development but also strengthening togetherness and religious values within the village.

Serda Samudro from Pasmar 2 Surabaya, who also attended the event, stated that the regular Yasin recitation serves as a means to strengthen ties between the task force and the local community. According to him, such togetherness reinforces the spirit of mutual cooperation throughout the TMMD program.

“We want to be present not only to build infrastructure, but also to build solidarity and unity with the community. This Yasin recitation is a reflection of that togetherness,” said Serda Samudro.

Ustad Suyit expressed his appreciation for the participation of the task force personnel in the prayer room’s religious activities. He hopes the synergy between the TNI and residents will continue until the TMMD program is completed.

Residents of Klagin Hamlet admitted they were pleased with the task force’s active involvement in social and religious activities. They said it has created a warmer and more harmonious atmosphere in the village.

The Task Force of the 128th TMMD Program of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo remains committed to maintaining close relations with the community through various non-physical activities.
