TMMD Task Force and Residents Join Hands to Complete Home Rehabilitation in Brabe Village

Probolinggo, Saturday, May 9, 2026 – The rehabilitation of an uninhabitable house belonging to 83-year-old Mrs. Rafi'ah, also known as Ramo, located in Dusun Klagin RT 18 RW 06, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency, has reached 85 percent completion. The project is part of the physical targets of the 128th TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) program carried out by Kodim 0820 Probolinggo.

Currently, task force personnel together with local residents are working to complete the final stages of construction. The main focus is on finishing wall plastering, installing doors and windows, and tidying up the interior of the house.

On-site, the spirit of mutual cooperation between TNI personnel and the community continues to run smoothly. This strong sense of togetherness has accelerated the construction process while ensuring neat and quality workmanship.

Private First Class Samsudin, who is assigned to the location, stated that the project has entered the finishing stage. He emphasized that every detail is being handled carefully so the house can soon become fully livable for the beneficiary.

The Commander of the 128th TMMD Platoon from Armed Battalion 8/UY Jember, Second Lieutenant Ary, said that the rehabilitation of the elderly resident’s home is one of the program’s top priorities. According to him, ensuring comfort and safety in housing is essential.

“We are targeting all work to be completed before the TMMD closing ceremony. Progress has now reached 85 percent, with only final touches remaining,” said Second Lieutenant Ary.

Mrs. Rafi'ah expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided by the TNI and local residents in rebuilding her home. She admitted that the TMMD program has greatly eased her burden.

The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo remains committed to completing all physical and non-physical targets on schedule. The presence of the TNI within the community is expected to further strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation in village development. (*)
