“Disaster mitigation is not only carried out when disasters occur. Mitigation must begin with efforts to protect the environment, preserve natural resources, and build public awareness to live in harmony with nature. Therefore, synergy between the Indonesian Army, regional governments, community organizations, and the younger generation is extremely important,” he stated in his remarks.
