Korem 083 Holds Simultaneous Affordable Bazaar to Support Local MSMEs

Malang – The Affordable Bazaar and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) event held to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) was not limited to a single location but was conducted simultaneously across units under Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya. In Malang City, Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., together with Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat, inspected the event at Kodim 0833/Malang City Headquarters on Tuesday (September 22, 2026).

The simultaneous implementation of the bazaar demonstrated the TNI’s commitment to bringing services closer to the community. Various essential goods were offered at affordable prices, while MSME products supported by the TNI were given an opportunity to be marketed directly to the public.

Across the Korem 083/Bdj area, the bazaar involved approximately 220 booths and nearly 3,000 participants spread across various units. The event also served as a platform connecting consumers with MSME operators as drivers of the local economy.

The Commander of Korem 083 emphasized that the event was not merely a bazaar, but also part of an effort to strengthen togetherness and social concern.

> “The spirit behind this event is to ensure that the TNI’s presence is felt and benefits the community. We want to help meet people’s needs while encouraging MSMEs to continue growing sustainably,” said the Commander.

Through the simultaneous events, Korem 083/Bdj further strengthened its synergy with local governments and the community in developing the people’s economy while strengthening the bond between the TNI and the people. :::
