Danrem 083/Bdj and Jember Regent Strengthen Friendship, Commit to Making Jember Stronger

Jember – In a relaxed and cordial atmosphere, Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., paid a courtesy visit to Jember Regent Dr. H. Muhammad Fawait, S.E., M.Sc., at the Jember Regency Hall on Monday (October 5, 2026). The meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen communication and synergy between the Indonesian Army (TNI) and the Jember Regency Government in supporting development and maintaining regional stability.

The atmosphere became even more relaxed with a joint viewing of the Indonesian national football team’s match against Thailand. The gathering provided an informal setting for communication while further strengthening relations between the TNI and the Jember Regency Government.

The meeting was also attended by the Jember Regional Secretary, Commander of Kodim 0824/Jember, and several heads of regional government agencies. Discussions highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration and coordination in supporting various development programs and delivering tangible benefits to the people of Jember.

The gathering also included the signing of an Integrity Pact concerning the planned development of the Territorial Development Infantry Battalion (Yonif Teritorial Pembangunan/Yon TP) in Jember. The signing reflected a joint commitment to ensuring that the development process is carried out in an orderly, transparent, responsible manner and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Danrem emphasized that strong communication between the TNI and local government is an important foundation for addressing various regional dynamics.
