Danrem 083/Bdj: Promotion Brings Greater Responsibility

Malang – A total of 17 personnel from Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, comprising 2 officers, 6 non-commissioned officers, 8 enlisted personnel, and 1 civil servant, received a one-rank promotion effective October 1, 2026. The Promotion Corps Report ceremony was held at the Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya field, Jl. Bromo No. 17, Malang City, Friday (October 2, 2026).

Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., congratulated the promoted personnel while emphasizing that a promotion is not merely a change in rank insignia, but an entrusted responsibility accompanied by greater demands and accountability.

The Commander stressed that personnel who receive promotions must continue to improve their personal qualities and professionalism, serve as role models, uphold integrity, and strengthen their faith and devotion. The higher the rank, the greater the responsibility that must be demonstrated through performance and conduct in daily duties.

“Do not let the promotion only change the rank insignia without bringing change in attitude and the quality of service. Let the new rank be reflected in greater responsibility, better performance, and stronger leadership by example,” the Commander stressed.

The Commander also reminded all personnel to uphold the honor of themselves, their families, and their unit, while remaining faithful to the Sapta Marga, the Soldier’s Oath, the Eight Obligations of the TNI, and the Panca Prasetya Korpri.

The promotions are expected to serve as motivation for the personnel to make their best contributions and dedication to Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), the nation, and the state. :::
