Floor Plastering Stage Nears Completion in TMMD House Rehabilitation Program in Brabe Village

 

Probolinggo, Saturday, May 16, 2026 – The rehabilitation of an uninhabitable house belonging to Sayani (85), a resident of Dusun Klagin RT 19 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency, has now entered the indoor floor plastering stage.

The work is being carried out through mutual cooperation between personnel of the 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo and local residents. The floor plastering process is aimed at making the house surface more level and durable.

Sertu Frengky, a member of the 128th TMMD Task Force from Kodim 0820 assigned to the field, ensured that every stage was carried out according to the technical plan. Together with residents, he took turns transporting materials and leveling the plaster mixture.

“We are focused on completing the indoor floor plastering of Mrs. Sayani’s house. The progress has now reached 90 percent,” said Sertu Frengky.

The rehabilitation of the house aims to provide a safe and comfortable living place for Mrs. Sayani in her old age. The previous condition of the house was considered unsafe and unfit for habitation.

The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo is targeting all work to be completed on schedule. After this stage is finished, the work will continue with wall installation and final finishing.

Residents of Dusun Klagin have warmly welcomed the assistance. They voluntarily help with filling and tidying the house area every day.

With a consistent spirit of teamwork, the Task Force is optimistic that the rehabilitation of Mrs. Sayani’s house will soon be completed. This activity is a tangible manifestation of the TNI’s concern for the welfare of rural communities. (*)
