Kodim 0820/Probolinggo Personnel Join Residents for Friday Prayer During TMMD Program
Probolinggo, Saturday, May 16, 2026 – Personnel of the 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo performed Friday prayers together with residents at Nurul Jannah Mosque, Klagin Hamlet RT 18 RW 07, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency. The activity was part of territorial development efforts while also strengthening relations with the local community.
The Friday prayer was conducted solemnly and attended by all Task Force members assigned to the location. The presence of the Indonesian Army personnel among the congregation received a warm welcome from residents of Klagin Hamlet.
Danramil 0820/21 Maron, Captain Arh Murianto ST MM, stated that the joint worship activity reflects the strong unity between the TNI and the people. According to him, moments like these help strengthen social communication beyond the physical development activities of the TMMD program.
“Besides building infrastructure, we also want to be present in the social and religious activities of the community. Performing Friday prayers together is a way to strengthen friendship and togetherness,” said Captain Murianto.
Residents of Klagin Hamlet positively welcomed the presence of the Task Force members praying alongside them. They felt closer to the soldiers and more open in conveying their aspirations to the TNI personnel assigned to the village.
The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo considers non-physical activities an important part of the program. Religious and social development activities are viewed as a means to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation and unity within the village community.
After the prayer, Task Force personnel held a brief dialogue with religious leaders and residents. The light discussion focused on the progress of the TMMD program and the future needs of the community.
