Improved Village Roads Through TMMD Help Vendors and Farmers in Probolinggo

Probolinggo, Saturday, May 16, 2026 – The 128th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Program for Fiscal Year 2026 carried out by Kodim 0820/Probolinggo in Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency, continues to provide tangible benefits to the community. One of the positive impacts now being felt by residents is the smoother village road access, which has contributed to improving the local economy.

The construction of paved village roads, which is one of the physical targets of the TMMD program, has begun to ease the daily activities of residents, including mobile vendors who previously faced difficulties passing through damaged village roads.

One of the residents who directly benefits from the development is Mr. Heri, a vegetable vendor in Brabe Village. He admitted that the improved road conditions have greatly helped his business activities.

“Now the roads are much better, making it easier for me to travel around selling vegetables to residents. During the rainy season, the roads used to be slippery and difficult to pass, but now the trips are faster and my goods can reach buyers more smoothly,” said Heri.

A member of the 128th TMMD Task Force from Kodim 0820/Probolinggo, Corporal Iyan Sugianto, stated that the road paving project through the TMMD program aims to help improve the welfare of village communities, especially by supporting residents’ economic access.

“Through this paving development, we hope community mobility will become easier, agricultural distribution and trading activities will run more smoothly, and ultimately improve the economy of Brabe Village residents,” said Corporal Iyan Sugianto.

The 128th TMMD Program not only strengthens the unity between the TNI and the people, but also serves as clear evidence of the TNI’s commitment to accelerating development in rural areas for the welfare of the community. ***
