TMMD Pipeline Project Reaches 85 Percent Completion, Bringing Clean Water to Brabe Village

 

Probolinggo, Saturday, May 16, 2026 – The pipeline connection project from the spring in Kloangan Hamlet, Racek Village, Tiris District, to Klagin Hamlet, Brabe Village, Maron District, Probolinggo Regency, covering a distance of approximately 3 kilometers, has reached around 85 percent completion.

The pipeline installation is one of the physical targets of the 128th TMMD Program carried out by Kodim 0820/Probolinggo. The project is intended to meet the clean water needs of residents in Klagin Hamlet, Brabe Village, who have long faced difficulties accessing clean water.

The work includes pipe installation, construction of water reservoirs, and inspection of water flow to residents’ homes. The process is being carried out gradually together with local residents to ensure the entire system functions properly.

Master Sergeant Fatur Rohman and Sergeant Yance from Koramil 0820-21/Maron, who are part of the TMMD Task Force, confirmed that all stages of the work are progressing smoothly.

“The pipeline project has reached 85 percent completion, and we will continue to accelerate the work so it can be finished according to the target,” they stated.

Residents of Klagin Hamlet welcomed the progress of the program with enthusiasm. The availability of clean water is considered very helpful in easing the burden on residents who previously had to fetch water from distant locations.

The 128th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0820/Probolinggo emphasized that access to clean water is a basic necessity that must be fulfilled. The success of this project reflects the TNI’s genuine concern for the welfare of rural communities.

With the pipeline system soon operational, the Task Force hopes that the health and quality of life of the people in Klagin Hamlet will significantly improve. This activity serves as clear evidence of the spirit of mutual cooperation between the TNI and the community in developing rural areas. ****
